Kia ora,
I feel truly blessed to be a part-time teacher at Wellington Seventh-day Adventist School this year. I am passionate about Christian education and grateful for the opportunity to help children grow both academically and in their knowledge of, and relationship with, our loving God within a Christ-centered environment. Working in Christian education is a great privilege - one I do not take for granted and am thankful for every day. I was born just over the road from school in Kenepuru Hospital (more years ago than I care to remember!) and was raised in Tawa. I am married to an eternally patient wife (partners of school teachers will understand!) and we have two teenage children. I grew up in the Anglican Church and currently fellowship in the Salvation Army. With 30 years of educational experience, 11 of those in Christian education, I bring a deep commitment to fostering academic and spiritual growth. I currently lead the Lower North Island Christian Schools' Kāhui Ako/Community of Learning, which comprises 13 Christian schools from New Plymouth and Hastings down to Wellington, including WSDA. How wonderful it is when God's schools unite to advance student outcomes and, ultimately, His Kingdom on Earth!
Matthew 18:20
"For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them"
I am excited to get to know you and your tamariki this year.
Ngā manaakitanga & blessings.
