Kia ora,

I am passionate about Christian faith and learning, and I am excited to be working with New Entrant children at Wellington Seventh Day Adventist School. I bring over 30 years of experience in education, and I thoroughly enjoy working with New Entrants. They are delightful and eager to learn. It brings me great joy to watch them grow before my very eyes.

Growing up in a Christian home, I made a personal faith commitment as a teenager and was baptized at 21. Since then, my faith has remained an essential part of my life. Consequently, I consider being able to teach in a Christian school a gift and a wonderful privilege. It is an honour to teach students about the things of God and to connect with Him through worship and prayer. I am thrilled to be teaching at Wellington Seventh Day Adventist School.

I believe that working in partnership with whānau is of utmost importance. Such partnerships create a safe environment for students, as the people they value provide consistent support and messages.

This year, my goal for Piwakawaka Iti students is to help them feel safe and happy while gaining a solid grasp of the fundamentals of learning and faith as they embark on their new school journey.
